STATE OF THE HALL ADDRESS (SOHA)

Pursuant to article 67 of the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana and in accordance with standing order provisions, the SRC Hall House of Parliament asked the hall president H.E. Stephen Asare Brako (Abatay) on 1st March 2020 to read the state of the hall address to the ears of the affiliates.

The programme was graced by the following invited guests

1. Rt. Hon Caleb Otabil (speaker, UCC Parliamentary Council)

2. Rt. Hon Kpalam Bright,(speaker, Casley Hayford Hall House of Parliament)

3. Rt Hon. Dacoster Sarpong ( speaker, KNH House of Parliament)

4. Rt Hon Isaac Kweku Anobil ( Founding father and immediate past speaker, SRC Hall House of Parliament.)

5. Hon Majority leader (KNH House of Parliament.)

6. H. E Adams Achire ( Local NUGS President)

The president hinted some of the projects, items procured and programmes his administration have achieved so far.

These include

• Procurement of towel rags

• 95% workdone of the new JCR

• 90% workdone of the new study room

• Procurement of beds for the students in the reading room.
